Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
This policy explains how askmyai.live ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use the askmyai.live website and assistant, including when you choose to connect your Google account. Questions: laura@digitzs.com.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your first name, email address, and the messages you type or speak to the assistant.
- Google user data (only if you connect Gmail): with your permission we request read-only access to your Gmail (the
gmail.readonlyscope) and your basic profile (name and email address). We read message metadata (sender, subject, date, labels) and message content of recent messages in your inbox. - Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and request times) and cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep your connection secure.
2. How we use Google user data
We use your Gmail data only to provide features you request inside askmyai.live: to show you a summary of your own inbox, highlight messages that need attention, and draft suggested replies for you to review. Drafts are shown to you only; we do not send, delete, or modify any email in your account. We do not use Google user data for any other purpose.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell Google user data or any personal information.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, including targeted, personalized, or interest-based ads.
- We do not use Google user data to train, develop, or improve generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data, except with your explicit consent for specific messages, when necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide the features described here, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
4. Limited Use
askmyai.live's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Service providers (processors)
We use the following providers, solely to operate the features you request and under their own confidentiality and security obligations:
- Unipile — provides the secure Gmail (and optional WhatsApp) account connection and relays read-only access to your messages.
- Vercel — hosts the website and, through Vercel AI Gateway, routes requests to an AI model provider (currently OpenAI) to generate inbox summaries and draft replies. Content sent for this purpose is used only to produce your response and is not used to train their models.
- Supabase — stores account and connection records (for example, which account is linked to your session).
- ElevenLabs — converts the assistant's reply text to speech when you turn on read-aloud.
6. Retention and deletion
We process Gmail content on request to produce your summary and drafts and do not keep a permanent copy of your email content. Connection records are kept until you disconnect or ask us to delete them. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of any data we hold about you, email laura@digitzs.com; we will delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
7. Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access tokens and secrets are stored server-side and encrypted or held by our connection provider, access is limited to what is needed to run the service, and we use read-only access to Gmail.
8. Children
askmyai.live is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and ask for your consent again where required.
